Mystery started as a surprise night out that you didn’t have to plan. We built an experience that thousands of customers loved, on-boarded over 100 of Seattle’s best restaurants, bars, and activities, and created a dynamic business that quickly found product market fit. When COVID hit in March 2020, the team decided we needed to pivot. We identified a massive opportunity in the corporate team bonding & recognition space, leveraged the team’s strengths to quickly develop a market leading product offering, and haven’t looked back.
Mystery is now a platform for team bonding & recognition. This is always a big challenge for companies, but COVID has made it existential. People aren’t seeing each other face to face and you can only do so many Zoom happy hours before it all falls apart.
Enter Mystery—we take over everything, make it magical, and measure it all with software. Mystery provides corporate teams with access to the world’s best virtual experiences (say goodbye to boring Zoom happy hours), seamless customizable team gifting, and distribution of physical goods that will keep your team engaged.
Since launching in September, we’re already working with 150+ companies across multiple organizations. Some of these companies include: Amazon, Apple, Stripe, T-Mobile, Convoy, Tableau, Microsoft, and many more.
We’ve raised $2.8M from notable investors like Founder’s Co-op, Liquid 2 Ventures, Scooter Braun’s venture fund, Greg Greeley (ex-President of Homes at Airbnb), and more.

Your Skills & Experience:
Mystery is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We're committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace and welcome applicants from all backgrounds and walks of life to apply.
Be relentlessly resourceful - resourcefulness is the result of not knowing all the answers to problems you’re trying to solve. At Mystery we believe that any challenge is surmountable given enough time, thought, and effort. Relentlessly resourceful people take ownership and stop at nothing to solve problems.
Make it happen - we are action oriented. We believe it’s better to move fast and make mistakes than to be slow and miss opportunities. Doing so enables us to build more things and learn faster. This doesn’t however mean we don’t think, plan, study, strategize or prepare - we do all these things too. We act fast and think slow.
Evolve and adapt - we are agile, ready to shift and adapt our approach as challenges arise. We aren’t threatened by change, but rather welcome it for the opportunities it creates to push ourselves and the business forward.
Do the right thing - we do what we say we'll do and hold ourselves accountable for outcomes, whether good or bad. We focus on putting ourselves in the shoes of others and act with integrity and honesty. We know that what is right isn’t always the same as what is easy.
