Can I add dinner?

If you're in Seattle, Austin, or Denver, and you plan to enjoy your Night In on a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, you'll get an option to add dinner for two to your Night In when you check out. All meals will be a surprise, but trust us, they're delicious and prepared by some of our favorite spots.

Add-on meals will be fresh and made to order, but some cooling may happen during delivery. Keep in mind you may need to reheat your meal—or you could even store it in the fridge until you’re ready to enjoy it!

‍Need a drink?
‍Add a bottle of wine for $25, and support your local wineries and distributors.

‍Have a dietary need?
‍Upon checkout, you have an option to list any allergies or preferences. We can accommodate almost any dietary need.

Why can’t I add meals to my order?

This could be one of two things, either you're trying to order for a Saturday–Tuesday, or we aren’t able to accommodate meals where you live—sorry about that! We are working hard to expand to more cities and delivery days, so we can offer delicious dinners to all hungry stomachs. Keep an eye on the site and our social media for updates as we expand!

Can I just get the box?

Absolutely. Our Night In boxes are the perfect way to spend time at home. They come standard as a box packed with everything you'll need for some fun at home. Order one for yourself, send it as a gift, or arrange a virtual unboxing with your friends and family across the country (we ship to all 50 states).

What's the difference between boxes?

While each of our boxes is sure to be a good time, the primary difference is the theme. We offer Date Night boxes (these are also great for friends and roommates!), an Anniversary Box, a Birthday Box, and a Family Box.

Our Night In boxes are all curated for 3+ hours of fun—from the moment you open the box until you're ready to call it a night, we'll guide you through everything inside.

Can I give this as a gift?

Can I be your friend? Of course!

Just fill out the order information with that person in mind (i.e. dietary restrictions, alcohol preferences, delivery address, etc). Please let the recipient know to be home on the scheduled delivery day. If you just want to send the box—sans meal—select "Mail" when entering your address at checkout.

Want your pal to choose their own date? We have gift cards for that very reason!

Can I get more than two meals?

Nom nom nom.

Of course, just add more meals at checkout. If it's for children, just let us know in the food preferences section. Note: Add-on meals are only available in Seattle, Austin, and Denver.

When will my box arrive?

You get to pick your delivery date! Your Mystery Night In box will be shipped via FedEx and will arrive on, or before, your selected date. Keep an eye on your email—shipping info will be sent once the box is shipped. You will also get a notification via email when the package has been marked as “delivered.”

If your order includes local meal delivery, that will be delivered via Postmates on your selected date between 4:45–7:00PM, with a smaller delivery window communicated to you in advance and in-progress text updates as your order is en route.

Who is this for?

Night In is designed for up to two adults to have fun together from the comfort of home. Whether you are roommates, friends, or more than friends, our activities are designed to be enjoyed by all. While nothing in the box is explicitly “adult-only,” please note that the experience was created with grown-ups in mind.

How will I get my box?

Your Night In box will be shipped via FedEx and will arrive on, or before, your selected date. Keep an eye on your email—shipping info will be sent once the box is shipped! You will also get a notification via email when the package has been marked as “delivered.” 

If your order includes local meal delivery, that will be delivered via Postmates on your selected date between 4:45–7:00PM, with a smaller delivery window communicated to you in advance and in-progress text updates as your order is en route. If your order includes local meal pickup, your food will be ready at one of our restaurant partners at 5:30PM. The pickup address will be communicated in the checkout process!

Can I cancel or move my delivery?

Getting your Night In to you ASAP means our team works fast—like lightning fast. This also means our window to make changes is very small. If you notice a change you’d like made to your order please reach out to support@trymystery.com and we will do our best to accommodate any requests. Thanks for your understanding!

If I order a second box, will I get the same thing?

We anticipated you'd be back for more, so our system is built to flag repeat orders. This way you'll get to enjoy a new, unique experience each time you order a Night In!

Can the delivery be dropped off if I am not at home?

Your Mystery Night In can be delivered to your home via FedEx without you present, in most cases. You will get a notification via email when the package has been marked as “delivered.” If you are expecting local meal delivery via Postmates, your driver will call you upon arrival and you can coordinate with your driver about where best to leave your items for contactless pick up.

Please note, contactless delivery is not available if your order contains wine, as your ID will need to be scanned.

Why can’t I order for tomorrow?

Since we're using FedEx to ship your box of fun straight to you, we need around 3 business days to ensure it will arrive on your special night.

What if I'm not home for delivery? Is anything perishable?

Nothing to worry about here, our boxes can sit at room temperature for up to 3 weeks—hopefully you're home by then!
